Amidst of my ever piling school and production work, I decided to go for one of my friend's brother's wedding dinner.
Though i was not that interested in going thanks to Sangs I was forced outta my house. It was held in Orchid Country Club and trust me though it is in some ulu place in Yishun, its a very very beautiful place. When I entered the ballroom, the first thing that I told myself was that if I am ever going to hold my wedding dinner, its gotta be this place man. It was that beautiful with all those tables and lightings. Apt for weddings.
The photoshoots of the couple were really sweet. There were some photos that got stuck to my mind. Food was not that great. But it wasnt that bad too. I would say that it was of average standard. The dinner was kicked off with a belly dance and they had another performance by a local dance group.
The real highlight of the dinner was when the couple walked in together. The couple walked into the ballroom twice, once in modern clothes and the other time was in Indian traditional clothes. I liked it when they walked in their traditional clothes as they were accompanied by Urmi Melom (indian instruments that produce the rock kind of music). It was worth the wait Sangs!I was so impressed by that. And Nitz, my friend looked nice in both costumes.
I guess its very true when they say that marriage is a life long commitment. Every single thing that you do matters alot. Its a once in life thing. Definitely needs that grandness and commitment. Anyway, saw this quote online and thought it will suit this entry. Enjoy the quote ya! And I wish all the best for the couple =)
"A happy marriage has in it all the pleasures of friendships, all the enjoyment of sense and reason - and indeed all the sweets of life.- Joseph Addison
And to you: Maybe I might have said in a rush. But I meant every single thing that I told you. You are my blessing. My star.
