And so I turned 21.

And yes the party went well.

I wasnt really excited about it but I think I should really some people.

But the main person I should mention about it is Usha Mike. She did alot. She ran around the whole place as though its her party. She made sure that everything goes on properly and well on stage. But the only sad thing was that, she could not make that speech for me. I was really disappointed cause that was something that I was really looking forward to.

I should thank Fad, Sangs and Carol who made my day and were there for me. Thank you so much girls. I love you all.

I am a crazy fan of music. But I think I should admit that I sway more towards the tamil side than to the english side. It might be cause I have been listening to more tamil songs compared to english songs. And dont mistake me, but I feel that tamil songs are more expressive compared to english songs. My stand ya.

And so I was browsing through the songs I have in my lappie and it was one of those days where I wanted to listen to all those songs that I have not been listening to regularly. All those songs from the 80s and melodies that were just chucked inside some folder. I think each and every song is significant to us in one way or another. I did regret what I told Usha today.

"10 days of peace dei. And I really need it".

I have no idea why I had to phrase it in that way but I think I meant it. It was not some other sentences that I just said without thinking or what. It has been an issue that has been in my mind for some time. I have this very sick feeling in me that my private space has been intruded. That carefree lifestyle that I used to live is no longer there. The feeling that I need to be in some quiet place to answer those calls and have to always keep on checking my phone to check whether I have any messages is irritating at times. And the fact that you get so worked out whenever I dont reply on time is making me feel guilty.

Maybe that is how a relationship is supposed to be. Or its just me who is having some problems trying to adjust this new lifestyle. Well, lets see how it goes.

On a different note, I was telling usha that I dont mind marrying a punjabi just for bhangra.

Lets face it.

You and I are products of the society. Whether you want to accept it or come fighting with me on why we are not products of the society is a secondary thing for now. But honestly speaking, I think this statement holds true. We are products of the society. As much as we talk about being the special one and how we are so unique from others, in one way or another, we do share a common platform, that is that we are products of today's society.

Come on, lets think about it. The way you and I think is definitely influenced by the society. Media, friends, institutions, social circles are all part of the society. There has to be this influence that moulds us to think,behave,talk and react in a particular manner. You can tell me that you got your temper from your daddy and your talking style from your mummy. But dude, let me remind you of something. Mummy and daddy make up a family and family is as the basic unit of a society. I guess its really difficult to grow up without any influence from the society. Gone are all those days where mummy would just keep you beside her all the time. The days where you reported back home on time once school was over are gone. Now, when your mummy asks you to stay away from that particular person or that group, you will deliberately make the attempt to go and hang out with those people. So please educate me on how you are going to prevent being influenced by the society.

I don't know whether this entry is making any sense.

But I am convinced that I am a product of this society.
