I went to a school that is near my secondary school. I went on Saturday to do my voluntary work and in fact, when I heard that I had to go to that area, I was really dreading it as I had to travel quite abit on a Saturday morning.
Once I was done with my stuff, I walked back to the bus stop where I took bus to and fro school for 4 years. As I was waiting for the bus, I sat at the usual place where I used to sit down with Carol. I sat down and looked around. As I was looking around, images and memories started hitting me. The places where students would gather, the benches that used to be 'conquered' by us and those shops that still exist. The environment, that used to be noisy cause of us was too quiet for me. It was the same bus stop where we would meet people, where we would sit down either with an ice-cream or a drink and talk about people or just school stuff. It is the same bus stop, where I have seen girls screaming at each other, boys staring each other and couples hanging out together. It is the bus stop that opened my eyes to adulthood. It is also the same bus stop where Carol and I shared our long bus journeys together.
Frankly speaking, I miss my secondary school days. Those were my best period of time in life. I really cant recall the days I spend at the next institution after my secondary school. Even now, Carol and I still talk about our secondary school days. Those were the days man. Something that I would never want to forget.
Oh wells, bidding is gonna start soon.
Which means, school is gonna start soon.
Time really flies.
