Happy.

'It was right then that I started thinking about Thomas Jefferson on the Declaration of Independence and the part about our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And I remember thinking how did he know to put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue and maybe we can actually never have it. No matter what. How did he know that?'

- The Pursuit Of Happyness-

Never mind about who I watched this movie with. But it is an awesome movie. A movie that totally change my view on life.

I used to be one of those who thought that happiness is something that could be experienced by those who are 'gifted'. Back then, to be gifted is to be rich, smart and pretty. (to me). I mean I was young and dumb then. But I started to think in a different way after this movie.

I mean happiness is subjective. It is not necessary for one to feel happy over an issue that I feel happy for. But happiness is in our hands. Yeah, there are times where you can feel sad, confused, angry and what not. But then again, I think we are all given the freedom and choice to feel happy. Its a matter of whether we pursue it.

What exactly is happiness? There are many times I have asked myself this question. Its something like love. Something you cant feel or see. But you know that it is there. Sometimes you wonder whether it is really there, but then again you choose to believe that its there.

Have not been myself for the past few days. Am not happy.

When I woke up today, I told myself that this is not going anywhere.

I want to be happy.

I am going to pursue it.
