Friendship & Love.

I have returned back to my addictive habit of reading. I am a person who can't put my book down even if you call me umpteen times. I even borrowed some books from Fad though currently I have loads to read. It is okay ya, I will manage *winks*

Anyway, coming back to the point, I was reading this magazine which was lying on my coffee table. The magazine had an article about how friends found themselves in love with the other partner and how blissful their lives are. Honestly, I have never really thought about this issue before. I have always thought that love just happens like that. Suddenly, you would start questioning yourself and then you will realise that you are in love. Sounds abit fairy tale-ish but honestly this is what I have been always assuming about love.

However, this article provided me with another perspective. Love does blossom from friendship. I have always related such 'love' to Tamil movies and I have realised that I have made a mistake. I mean, I do agree that I have heard and even told people that you have to know the other party well before falling for him/her. Never did I realise that the other party could be your friend too. Friends are gems. I think I can very confidently say that they are the only ones who will never expect anything from you and no matter what, they will stand by you. In that case, I am very blessed. I am surrounded by many who really care for me and I know that they will stand by me whenever I am in need. I am sure that friends are people who we will know best after our family members. A life with someone you know very well is just awesome. Isn't it? I think it is man. Not that I have fallen for a friend or something like that, (anyway as I have mentioned earlier, it will take me a real long time before I fall for another person.) but I was just impressed by the article and it even made me to come to this conclusion that ' Love happens at anytime, anywhere and with any person.'

I found a suitable quote to end off this entry: " All love that has not friendship as its base is like a mansion built on sand."

I don't know how many of you guys will agree with me but am sure that we will all agree upon one point. That is that any kind of relationship needs understanding as a basis.

Cheers!
